A new Horizon Europe project under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Networks scheme! FASS faculty members Prof. Dr. Meltem Müftüler-Baç (Scientific Coordinator) and Prof. Dr. Senem Aydın-Düzgit will participate in the project titled “MINARET – A Sociology of Post-Imperial Islamic Legal Cultures: Insights from Central Asia, the Middle East, North Africa, and Southeast Asia,” coordinated by Lund University (Sweden) within the scope of the European Commission’s Horizon Europe Programme.
The project, which will run from 2027 to 2031, aims to examine post-imperial Islamic legal cultures across different geographies from a comparative perspective.
We congratulate our faculty members and wish them success in this significant international research project.
